20th Nov 2019. HP India Sales Pvt. Ltd. Pantnagar and Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organized an event on Universal Children's Day. The event started with a brief session on Child Right's and why it is important is to know about them. In view of the significance of the day Poetry Recitation and Essay Writing Competition was organized. The purpose behind the event was to make students understand that knowing your rights is not enough we also have to speak up. After the competition prizes were distributed to those who did their best. The event ended with snacks being distributed.

18th Nov 2019. HP India Sales Pvt. Ltd. Pantnagar and Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organized an event at J.H.S Pakki Khamariya to mark the event of Children's Day celebration week. The event comprised of Poetry or Speech Competition, Essay and Handwriting Competition. The idea behind the event was to encourage students to come forward and participate. The volunteers encouraged children to make an attempt at public speaking. After the competition ended the volunteers highlighted the importance of public speaking and how it helps in building self confidence. The event ended with prizes being distributed to students who came forward to participate. At the end a little celebration was held in view of Children's Day week with snacks being distributed among children.

24th Oct 2019. Children’s day celebrated with great fervor across Indian on November 14, this day originated from our first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru fondly known as 'Chacha Nehru'. On such a heartwarming day we HPIT volunteers added another activity in SPANDANA’s bucket list to celebrate Children’s day. The school we selected had only two classrooms and bunch of students. We planned to surprise them with a big chocolate cake, gifts and with different snacks. As we entered the school, we all were greeted with the “Good Morning Song” which surely reminded us of our school days. We did cake cutting and distributed cake & snacks to students and to teachers as well They loved the cake and happily completed everything. That was a bliss to see the happiness in their eyes and bright faces. Funny thing was all the volunteers became kids suddenly and were eating & enjoying cake, chips & chocolates and with those bunch of happy children. Chacha Nehru once said, "The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country." For our wonder we saw one student initiating to collect the used plates and wrappers right after everyone finished, he took one polythene bag and asked everyone to put in that. We ended the celebration with taking lot of photos, selfies and then students came out of the school to give a see-off to HPIT and were very thankful for making their day special.

15th Nov 2019. In the spirit of Children's Day HP India Sales Pvt. Ltd. Pantnagar and Jubilant Bhartia Foundation spent a day with primary school children focusing on the aspect of personality development. The event was divided into 2 segments- Poetry or Speech Competition and Handwriting Competition. The volunteers encouraged children to participate. The importance of public speaking and the spirit of participation was highlighted by the volunteers . Prizes were distributed to those who made a good attempt at participation. At the end a little celebration was held to mark Children's Day with snacks being distributed among children.
