21st Aug 2019. Using art not just for aesthetic pleasure but a medium of self-expression through which people can be educated on burning issues. HP India Sales Pvt. Ltd. Panthnagar along with Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organized a Drawing Competition in U.P.S Maharajpur on the topic “Save Tree, Save Life”. A theme based approach was taken in order to draw students attention on the current environmental crisis. Drawing sheets were distributed among all and crayons were given to those who needed it. The students were given one hour time. At the end the of the competition prizes were distributed to the winner and chocolates were distributed among children as gesture of appreciation for their effort.

22nd Aug 2019. For the month of August HP India Sales Pvt. Ltd. Panthnagar along with Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organized a Drawing Competition in J.H.S Pakki Khamariya. The theme of the competition was “Save Water, Save Life”. A theme based approach was taken to make the children conscious of the environmental issues. By using art not just as an expression of oneself but as a medium to actively engage the students to talk about the problem and the solution of the environmental crisis. Drawing sheets and crayons were distributed among students. The students were given one hour time. At the end the of the competition prizes were distributed to the winner and chocolates were distributed among children as appreciation for their effort.

16th Aug 2019. HP India Sales Pvt. Ltd. Panthnagar along with Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organized a Drawing Competition with the theme being “Cartoons” for primary school students in G.P.S Gaughat. The purpose behind the event was to put emphasis on the fact that drawing plays a vital part in development of creativity, cognitive process and motor coordination of a child . Drawing sheets with outlines of cartoons were provided to all. Those children who did not bring colors were provided with crayons .Children were encouraged to be as colorful as they can be in their drawing. The children were quite excited and started off as soon as they got their sheet. They were given one hour time. At the end the of the competition prizes were distributed to the winner and chocolates were distributed among children as gesture of appreciation for their effort.

The theme of the competition was “Save Water, Save Life”. A theme based approach was taken for middle school to make the children conscious of the issues affecting them through art. Art is not just for aesthetic pleasure but a medium of self-expression which needs to be taken seriously. This emphasis was stressed through the drawing activity, where the students were made to realize the root cause of the issue of water scarcity and how they can make an effort to solve it. Drawing sheets were given to all and those who did not bring colors were provided with crayons. The students were given one hour time. At the end the of the competition prizes were distributed to the winner and chocolates were distributed among children as gesture of appreciation for their effort.
